More Shortpaper Mitts

About five years ago, I made a crocheted scarf for a good friend of mine. Now, many years later, she apparently still uses the scarf, which is lovely to hear. Knowing that she appreciates my gift, I asked her if she would like an updated present and she mentioned a certain fondness for fingerless mitts. So here they are!

Pattern: Endpaper Mitts
Designer: Eunny Jang
Pattern Source: See Eunny Knit! website

Yarn Details:
  • Garnstudio Drops Alpaca
  • 100% Alpaca
  • 50gr=180m
  • colours #2916 (green) #3620 (red)
Needles: 2mm bamboo dps for ribbing and 3mm dps for mitt

Mods: worked 20 rounds of cuff ribbing before skipping chart 1 and moving straight to chart 2

I haven't sent them to her yet (but I know that she doesn't read this blog, so I'm safe!) and don't know if she likes them yet, but here's hoping that she does.

These are just great! I love the bright colors on smaller items like this. I just read back into your blog and you sound like a happy knitter. I think I'll put your blog in my bookmarks. I found you on Ravelry while reading about the shawl that you just finished, which is absolutely gorgeous. I'm Survivor on Ravelry and am just beginning to join groups and get involved more. Thanks for sharing your knitting!
